Omega Computers was founded in January 2009 in response to a need in West Hawaii for quality, affordable and trustworthy computer services.

Our founder, Bill Bierman, has lived on the Big Island for eight years. Since then, he has gotten married and planted roots in Kailua-Kona. He attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, and another in Mathematics. He has worked for and with Lockheed Martin, the UH Institute for Astronomy, the Maui High Performance Computing Center, and the United States Department of Defense. He has been quoted as an expert in several technology-related fields, most notably by the New York Times as an expert on an Internet-based teleconferencing platform.

For the past three years, Bill has been involved in assisting local-area businesses and personal computer owners in making the most of their technology. He has assisted in the troubleshooting and repair of old systems, and the design, purchase and assembly of new systems. During this time he has gained an understanding for the unique needs of the many small businesses here in Kona. He has become an expert in crafting solutions to meet all budget, training, maintenance and timing requirements.
